GPF Philippines conducts CCI workshop at Aliaga National High School in Nueva Ecija

On August 24th, Global Peace Education Philippines director, Ms. Ann Montejo-Arevalo, conducted a CCI Workshop for 90 teachers with their school head, Ms. Rowena Caoile, of Aliaga National High School in Nueva Ecija.


The morning session comprised of introducing GPF’s vision, mission, goals, principles (Peacebuilding Module 1: Our Common Identity, Our Common Humanity) and core values. The afternoon session, “Transforming Education Outcomes with Character and Creativity,” explored how schools are being called upon to transform their school cultures. It also tackled on developing graduates who are well balanced by creating new possibilities in educating the total child through modelling and nurturing character and creativity mindset.


Aliaga National High School is also a recipient of a PHP 111,000-worth of basketball goal posts and school supplies from the CEO of Fuji Suiso Kansha, Mr. Hideo Kawabata, through the efforts of Global Peace Foundation Japan.
